Good news for those who love to travel. In the next 10 years, they do not have to worry if their portable devices’ batteries are almost empty while traveling.
Why? Because there will be a device that looks like a famous Rubik’s Cube which can be used to create energy. The idea is that the Magic Cube will be used tt.o charge up the portable devices via USB port.
How? Simply by twisting it.

How it will integrate with the society?
- This technology suits for travelers or for those who are working outdoor and not always in the office. So, whenever their gadgets are losing its batteries, this Cube can actually generate electric power.
- While twisting the Cube up, down, left and right, it will power up stored built-in battery. How it going to be assimilated with the society is depending on those people who are using it. If they think that the technology is friendly to them, easy to carry along and comfortable, so it may be a culture.
- Just think about it, when it was released in 1974, Rubik’s Cube has been a huge hit all over the world. In the future who knows again this Cube will restore it publicity by being the first Cube that can create energy.
The effects of this technology
§ Positively, it can help people to work and the size of the Cube is acceptable as well as it is easy to bring it anywhere anyplace.
Barrier of acceptance
- Not all people who like to solve the Rubik’s Cube and there are some people who don’t even bother to touch or play with it.
- There are other technologies are lot better rather than this Cube. For adults who are busy and have lot of works to do, they will not interested to play with the Cube.
- The price is expensive.
Ethical challenges posed by the technology
§ As we can see, there is nothing wrong and not permitted while adapting the technology in the society.
§ But somehow, some adversaries may think that if people are using this technology, if they want to charge up their batteries, they will not be able to concentrate to other works because their hands and fingers are busy twisting the Cube.
There are other type of technologies that have similar purpose with this Cube later in the future.
ReplyDeleteSo, i think that, whoever is going to use and buy the Cube is the person who wants to possess some excitement. This type of person is like a normal student that wearing a green or yellow watch or shoes. He or she likes a 'catchy-style' of living.

Rubric can make me feel dizzy, but if this new upcoming technology is using it as a framework to charge my gadgets, i will definitely has to change my mentality about playing with rubric....
